Gerrit is a passionate healthcare enthusiast with more than 18 years’ management experience within the healthcare sector.
He has been part of the AHC team since inception. His journey started in the Occupational Health environment within the Mining Sector and then moved to the Private Healthcare Sector. He has held various positions within the healthcare environment with exposure to different departments – Patient Administration, Billing Management, Case Management, Internal Control, Marketing, Finance Management and Hospital Management.
Apart from Gerrit’s operational experience he has experience in systems and process management that comprises of Pharmaceutical Retail Systems, Hospital Information System Management and Financial Accounting System Management.
His oversight is based on strategic and operational management of Acute and Sub Acute facilities including Rehabilitation and Wound Care, Mental Healthcare, Pharmaceutical services delivery, Complete Facilities Management, Emergency Services Management and ICT.
