Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Porter, reporting to the Nursing Services Manager. The successful candidate will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring patient satisfaction and that all our patients receive comprehensive quality care.

Critical Outputs

• Provide assistance with patient luggage on admission and discharge.

• Safe transportation of patients within the hospital- between reception, wards, doctors’ rooms, x rays and other allied health professional rooms.

• Ensure wheelchairs are always clean and in good working order for their purpose.

• Directing patients and visitors to relevant departments within the hospital.

• Distribution of internal communication.

• Collection of stock and stationery for the Department.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.

• 3 years relevant experience in private healthcare advantageous.

• Computer proficiency.
