Reporting to the Hospital Manager and forming part of the Hospital MANCO Team, the incumbent will be charged with helping the organization achieve its business objectives by providing a comprehensive Human Resources service within the hospital. This includes driving workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee development & succession planning, enhancing employee engagement levels & retention, compensation management & benefits administration, industrial relations and compliance.
NB: We are currently recruiting for a few of our existing and upcoming hospitals nationwide. Please indicate your preferred province/s when you submit your application, and the details of the hospitals will be discussed during the interview.
Critical Outputs
• Strategic Leadership:
Develop, implement, and align HR strategies and initiatives with the overall business objectives.
• Talent Acquisition:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding top-tier talent.
• Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor, mediating conflicts, managing grievances, and championing a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Performance Management:
Oversee the performance management and review process aligned to business strategy.
Provide guidance to managers, and support employee development and talent management programs.
• Compliance & Policies:
Ensure all HR policies and procedures’ application complies with labour laws and regulations.
• Compensation & Benefits:
Manage payroll processes to ensure competitive and fair compensation structures.
Manage the company’s employee programmes, staff benefits and manage the allocation of HR budgets
• Company Culture:
Drive employee engagement initiatives, and support change management efforts.
Demonstrate the company values and championing the leadership behaviour framework.
• HR Reporting and HR Metrics:
Collate, interpret and analyse HR data and key performance indicators to identify trends that require management intervention.
• HR Administration:
Act as the custodian of all HR records, data, information and administration processes.
Participate in internal and external audits by providing relevant HR information during the audit process, and implementing corrective action where required.
Requirements
• A relevant NQF level 7 HR related qualification.
• Minimum 3 -5 years Human Resources Generalist experience covering the full spectrum of HR work.
• Experience in private healthcare or hospitality will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Remuneration Strategies, Employee Development & Talent Management, Organisational Culture Management, Industrial Relations and Performance Management.
• Computer proficiency.
