Description

A vacancy exists for a Group Marketing Manager at Africa Health Care Head Office, reporting to the Group Chief Operations Officer. The purpose of this position is to manage the marketing and communications function for Africa Health Care Group internally and externally with key focus on growing occupancies, revenue and profitability; and to be the custodian of the Africa Health Care brand whilst promoting and growing the brand in the market with a resultant value creation.

Critical Outputs

Doctor and Specialist recruitment:

 • Support the hospitals with the recruitment of specialists, practice set-up and establishment, and growth of specialist business.

• Maintain an up-to-date database of practicing Doctors, Physicians and Surgeons, tracking possible leads.

• Develop and coordinate a new doctor on- boarding process.

Customer relations management:

 • Build and maintain profitable relationships with key stakeholders.

• Review and implement group wide CRM processes that meet AHC’s business needs.

• Develop and implement strategies to inculcate a culture of customer satisfaction.

• Set specific marketing strategies to retain customers.

• Channelling complaints and assisting relevant business leaders in expediently resolving customer complaints received through various channels.

Marketing:

• Develop and implement the marketing strategy and analyze information utilizing findings to guide marketing initiatives aligned to the overall business strategy.

• Marketing of new businesses, specialties and medical technologies to customers.

• Continuous market research, customer surveys and evaluation of business opportunities and customer needs.

• Develop and drive the establishment of a consistent structure and approach to the marketing function across the Africa Health Care Group.

• Maintain awareness of competitor activity and general healthcare industry trends and communicate these with internal stakeholders.

Brand Management:

 • Develop brand and corporate identity strategies, policies, standards and procedures.

• Develop and communicate the Africa Health Care brand narrative.

• Ensure standardized branding and signage (including legally required signage) throughout facilities.

Communication:

• Maintain and update Africa Health Care’s website, including affiliated businesses, with relevant and topical information.

• Develop all communication templates to be utilized in the business.

• Act as support in media liaison to business leadership.

• Oversee and manage crisis situations and measure effectiveness of communication initiatives to enhance Africa Health Care’s and its affiliates’ reputations.

• Provide communication support to internal stakeholders to ensure communication that is consistently reflective of Africa Health Care’s corporate identity.

• Manage, monitor and improve the delivery of information and messaging to all stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum NQF Level 7 qualification in Marketing, Communication or similar qualification.

• Minimum 5-years’ working experience in marketing and communications in Private Healthcare industry.

• Proven track record in extensive doctor recruitment.

• Driver’s license and ability to travel.

• Relevant experience and technical skills to meet critical outputs.
