Description

An opportunity is available for an Enrolled Nurse, reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidate will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care.

Critical Outputs

• Previous experience of nursing spinal cord injured patients will be advantageous.

• Previous experience in a re-habilitation/sub-acute facility will be advantageous.

• Previous experience in wound care treatment will be advantageous.

• Exhibit meticulous planning and well organised work methods.

• Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge of nursing protocols.

• Application of systems, processes, policies and people resources to meet superior patient care.

Requirements

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

• Previous working experience in the nursing field of at least 5 years.

• Ability to speak, write and read in English.

• Ability to work shifts and night shifts.

• Ability to work overtime and on weekends.

• Display a sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• The ability to operate as an independent practitioner within the scope of practice.

• Demonstrates clinical insight into patient safety.
