Description
A vacancy exists for a Debtors Clerk, reporting to Patient Administration Manager. The successful candidates will maintain a high level of integrity and ethical standards and assist in day-to-day compilation and completion of financial debtor activities as required.
Critical Outputs
• Reconcile medical aid remittance advice and follow up on short payments.
• Recover outstanding debt from patients and medical aids, actively managing debtors age.
• Send out statements to Medical Aids and patients timeously.
• Filing and distribution of all documentation and monitor accuracy of patient accounts.
• Accurate processing of patient payments and authorized adjustments.
Requirements
• Grade 12
• 3 years’ experience in a similar position in healthcare
• Computer proficient.
