Description
A vacancy exists for a Case Assessor reporting to the Patient Administration Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient patient case management and the delivery of an efficient and professional service to internal and external customers.
Critical Outputs
• Case Management and utilization review
• Liaising with external funders and stakeholders
• Statistical analysis and reporting of outcomes and trends
• Risk Management of all risks encountered with medical and private paying patients
Requirements
• SANC registration as an Enrolled Nurse is advantageous.
• 5 years’ experience of basic finance and Medical Aid administration processes and procedures (ICD10, CPT 4 Procedure Codes, Fixed Fees and Per Diems).
• Private hospital patient administration experience.
• Knowledge of hospital billing and tariffs
• Knowledge of the Hospital Information System is advantageous.
• Computer proficiency.
