An opportunity exists for 5x Kitchen Hostesses, reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor. The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating meal services across wards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and patient satisfaction.
Critical Outputs
• Deliver meals to patients promptly and courteously, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Assist patients with meal service, including explaining menu options and supporting those with special needs.
• Maintain accurate records of meal distribution and patient preferences.
• Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene, infection control, and food safety standards.
• Provide feedback to the catering team regarding patient satisfaction and dietary concerns.
• Support ward staff in coordinating meal times and service schedules.
Requirements
• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or healthcare service is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring approach to patient service.
• Physical ability to manage meal trays and service duties in a busy hospital environment.
