Description
An opportunity is available for 3x Professional Nurses & 4x Enrolled Nurses, reporting to the Unit Manager. The successful candidates will form part of the multidisciplinary team ensuring that all our patients receive comprehensive quality nursing care.
Critical Outputs
• An in-depth knowledge of nursing of spinal cord injured patients will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a re-habilitation/sub-acute facility will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in wound care treatment will be advantageous.
• Exhibit meticulous planning and well organised work methods.
• Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of nursing protocols.
• Knowledge of Proclin (Hospital Information System).
• Application of systems, processes, policies and people resources to meet superior patient care.
Requirements
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Previous working experience in the nursing field of at least 5 years
• Ability to speak, write and read in English
• Ability to work shifts and night shifts
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends
• Display a sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail
• The ability to operate as an independent practitioner within the scope of practice
