About Us
Ideally located on-site at The Fountain Private Hospital in Carletonville, the Africa Health Care Nursing College is an accredited institution of higher learning by the Department of Higher Education and Training and registered with the South African Nursing Council. It boasts a heritage of over 60 years of high-calibre students trained by a team of qualified and experienced educators and facilitators. At present, we have several hundred students in our system, and this is growing every year.
Courses
The college offers a comprehensive programme of nurse training and education, from basic qualification to specialised nurses. The college currently offers the following professional qualification programmes:
- Higher Certificate In Auxiliary Nursing (R169)*
- Diploma In General Nursing (R171)*
- First Aid Training
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
*Awaiting final SANC accreditation
