Inacio Banze has been part of our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) division since Africa Health Care’s inception in 2014. He started with us as a Basic Ambulance Assistant (BAA) and has since advanced to an Ambulance Emergency Assistant (AEA).
As part of our skills development policy, Inacio was able to reach his new level as an AEA through the required training course, which he took last year. This new qualification has allowed Inacio to take the next step in pursuing his ambition towards become a fully certified paramedic. In the meantime, he is soaking up the many opportunities to learn from his EMS team in the field.
It is essential to AHC that our staff has as much knowledge as possible in their area, and we know that practical application of this knowledge, coupled with mentorship from colleagues, is just as important for the development and career progression of our staff.
“As part of our skills development policy, Inacio was able to reach his new level as an AEA .”
Inacio has had exposure to a variety of emergency medical situations and has proven his ability to provide quality healthcare services to those who need it. Working in the EMS profession is no easy task, but Africa Health Care is entirely prepared with the most effective resources available for our staff to use. This means that our team is able to reach those in need quickly and efficiently. For Inacio, that is the most important aspect of his role at AHC – providing patients with high-quality medical services when they need it most.
His growth at Africa Health Care is a journey that continues each day. There is a wealth of knowledge available to him in the EMS department and, more specifically, within his team of experienced emergency services professionals. Inacio is part of one of our most valuable branches, providing those in emergency medical situations with professional, high-quality medical care as quickly as possible, which is the EMS department’s primary goal.
We are proud to have an experienced and well-qualified EMS team on hand in every community AHC serves – they are on the front lines of emergency healthcare and save lives every day with their dedication and passion.
